Setting ACL Permissions for Buckets

You can set ACL permissions of the OwnerAnonymous UserRegistered User, and Log Delivery User.


  1. Log in to OBS Console.
  2. In the bucket list, click the target bucket to go to the Summary page.
  3. In the navigation tree on the left, click Permission to go to the permission management page, as shown in Figure 1.

  4. In ACL, click Edit to set ACL permissions of the OwnerAnonymous UserRegistered User, and Log Delivery User for the target bucket.
  5. Optional: Click Add under ACL to set the ACL permissions of a specific user, as shown in Figure 2. Enter the Domain Name or Domain ID of the specific user, and set ACL permissions of the specific user. You can click Delete next to the permissions to delete permissions of the specific user.

    You can obtain Domain Name or Domain ID on the My Credential page.

    If no ACL permission is assigned for a new bucket, OBS automatically disables the access to the bucket and objects by other users except the bucket owner.

  6. Click Save.

    A message is displayed indicating that bucket permissions have been set successfully.

Follow-up Procedure

Click Delete or Edit to delete or edit permissions of specific users when necessary.
